About our Artist

Our talented artist, Marian Atkinson, draws inspiration from long walks in the woods, and visits to nearby lakes. She listens intently to the rustling leaves and the distant calls of loons.

Marian believes that art is a bridge between the tangible and the intangible—a way to capture fleeting moments and emotions.

Marian grew up on Long Island and moved to Saranac, NY in 1985. She has drawn and painted since she was a young kid.

She is a published photographer and writer, and has an AAS degree in fine arts from Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC
