SKU# 219 Saw Whet Owl on Antique Saw

The northern saw-whet owl (Aegolius acadicus) is one of the smallest and most secretive owl species in North America, weighing only about 75 to 100 grams and standing roughly 7 to 8 inches tall.

A close-up portrait of a Northern Saw-whet Owl sits near the middle of the blade, which is 6″wide  X 30″ tall. The owl is painted with realistic textures, showcasing its mottled brown and white feathers. Its large, striking yellow eyes face forward with a wide, alert expression.

The blade serves as a canvas for a night scene. To the right of the owl, a full moon glows in a deep blue and black night sky, partially obscured by the dark silhouette of forest foliage. To the left, the dark forest canopy stretches out toward the tip of the blade.
